Protest Texas Governor Rick Perry's 200th Execution

More executions than any other governor in U.S. history

I was tasked to do a research paper on Napoleon I or Napoleon Bonaparte for one of my history classes. At first I did not like this idea since I am not fond of doing research work. Heck, I do not even like writing. This research paper assignment though is one that has changed or erased all the ill feelings I have towards research and writing!

The following are things that I have learned on the small conqueror:

He may have proposed the production of Canned Goods
He wanted a way to preserve the food he and his military men brought with them during military campaigns so he asked inventors to device a way to combat food from spoiling.
Bonaparte lost more than 500,000 of his men when he invaded Russia
He brought with him 650,000 of his troop to invade Russia but only came back with 40,000. Most of the men died from freezing and starvation due to the Russian winter.
Bonaparte tried to commit suicide before his exile
After his abdication and the order to be exiled to Elba, he drank poison from a vial he always brought with thim. Unfortunately though, the poison weakened with time so he Bonaparte survived and was deported to Elba.
